Soflex Speech Pathology is an Australian provider of speech pathology therapy services to adolescents (14+) and adults. Soflex Speech Pathology offers both face-to-face (community) and telehealth (online) support to individuals aged 14 years and older. Currently Soflex Speech Pathology provides face to face services within the greater Gold Coast area (Tweed Heads to Ormeau), Logan and Brisbane, and telehealth support Australia wide. Soflex Speech Pathology aims to support all Australians, wherever they are in need of communication or swallowing support. Soflex Speech Pathology believes in the value of establishing genuine connections to enhance therapy interventions and maximise positive outcomes.

Soflex Speech Pathology offers client-centered, strengths-based service delivery options, to deliver the highest quality Speech Pathology services in the format most comfortable for clients and their individual support needs.

• Telehealth Appointments - Online consultations via our secure Telehealth system (Zoom) in the comfort of your own home or location of preference.

• Face to face visits - Mobile therapy with in-person services for clients in the greater Gold Coast region, Logan and Brisbane, that prefer appointments in an environment they are most comfortable; This can be in a home environment or location of preference (i.e., workplace, local park, community hub, etc).

Soflex Speech Pathology face-to-face services can occur in the environment most comfortable for you. Whether it is face-to-face, telehealth, or a hybrid combination of both, at Soflex Speech Pathology the focus is on providing flexible support services that are highly tailored to an individual's needs.

We accept clients from the following funding sources:

• National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) - Self and Plan Managed Participants
• Medicare (GP - Chronic Conditions Management Plan)
• Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)
• Private Health Funds
• Work Cover
• National Injury Insurance Scheme (NIISQ)
• Self-funded (Fee for service)

If at any time you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please advise as soon as possible. At Soflex Speech Pathology, if a service is cancelled with less than 24 hours-notice, or there is a no show, we reserve the right to charge up to 100% of the agreed support fee.

Please note that for NDIS clients - the NDIS monitors short notice cancellations and may contact Soflex Speech Pathology about participants with a high number of cancellations. We will work with you to minimise cancellations and make sure your NDIS plan is meeting your needs. This may include pausing services, or altering mode of therapy provided.

Soflex Speech Pathology currently provides supports to individuals Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
