Welcome to Soflex Speech Pathology, a family-owned and operated speech pathology service dedicated to providing high quality assessment and intervention to adolescents (15+) and adults with communication or swallowing difficulties. 

Soflex Speech Pathology has a special interest in providing speech therapy support to adolescents and adults with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), Autism Spectrum Disorders, developmental disabilities, acquired or traumatic brain injuries, language disorders, or social skill (pragmatics) difficulties.

Soflex Speech Pathology embraces and celebrates difference and finding individualised ways to best empower adolescents and adults to reach their full potential. At Soflex Speech Pathology, therapy is seen as an individual journey that necessitates cohesive support and flexibility.

Soflex Speech Pathology believes in a collaborative approach to therapy by working closely with clients, their families, stakeholders, and supports, to create individualised treatment plans which address the unique goals and needs of an individual.

We provide a range of speech and language therapy services for adolescents (15+) and adults with swallowing or speech and language disorders, including articulation therapy, language therapy and social communication therapy. We have particular expertise in supporting individuals with:

• Dysphagia Assessments and Mealtime Management Plans
• Comprehensive Receptive and Expressive Language Assessments
• Communication or swallowing intervention, education, and training
• Voice therapeutic intervention
• Social skills (pragmatics) intervention
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
• Client/family/carer education

As a family-owned and operated service since 2024, we understand the intrinsic value in positive relationships and genuine connections. It is for this reason that we strive to be deliberate in who we support and provide individualised and comprehensive support to; We understand the value in a positive client/therapist experience. As the sole certified practicing speech and language pathologist, Tony is involved every step of the way, from client intake to service delivery, which serves to reduce the volume of people involved. Tony has extensive experience supporting adolescents and adults with communication and swallowing difficulties and navigating the nuances of the NDIS. By opting to promote a genuine therapy experience, Tony is committed to providing compassionate and effective support to his valued clients, their families and key stakeholders as they journey towards their independence together. Tony provides, assessment, intervention and education to encourage independence, and to work collaboratively to achieve goals and support improved wellbeing.
